Child Therapy (Ages 4–12)
Children often communicate through play before they have the words for their feelings. Using a play-based approach, I help kids explore emotions, work through challenges, and build healthy coping skills in a way that feels safe and natural.
Every child’s needs are different, so I tailor therapy to meet them where they are — whether it’s anxiety, behavior changes, family transitions, or big feelings. I also collaborate with parents and caregivers so your child feels supported both in and outside of sessions.
Teen Therapy (Ages 13-18)
The teenage years bring big changes and pressures — socially, academically, and emotionally. Many teens face stress, self-doubt, or identity questions that feel hard to share at home. Therapy offers a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore what they’re going through and learn tools for coping.
My approach is collaborative and respectful of each teen’s individuality. I work to build trust while also partnering with parents and caregivers, honoring your teen’s need for both support and independence.
Therapy for Young Adults & Adults
Life can feel overwhelming, especially during times of transition or relationship struggles. Therapy offers space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
I work with adults of all backgrounds, creating an inclusive and culturally aware space that welcomes your identity and experiences. Together, we move at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you, and creating a safe place for growth and healing.
Support Beyond the Therapy Room
At Dose of Healing, support doesn’t stop after the one-hour session. When it’s helpful, I collaborate with outside agencies such as schools or community programs to make sure your child’s progress continues in every part of their life. This consistency helps create a stronger foundation for lasting growth and healing.
A Safe Space to Learn, Express, and Thrive
My therapies are culturally inclusive and designed to help transform unhelpful thinking patterns, establish healthy boundaries, and develop sustainable coping strategies. I also work closely with families to support children’s growth, providing both directive and non-directive approaches so kids can safely express and understand their big feelings.
